The new scheme which is due to start construction in March will include two gateways at either end of Kingfisher Drive and it is these that will carry the winning four designs from the pupils.

As part of this competition, the pupils have also been learning about road safety. This activity has direct local relevance to them owing to the changes going ahead soon.

During his visit on Friday 1st February starting at 10am, the Mayor will be looking at the work the pupils have done and choosing the four winning designs that will be made in to signs.
