5/4/07 – UKIP Standing in the Ward
From the list of candidates in the 3rd May 2007 Local Elections in the ward, UKIP are standing. Cllr Glenn Smith is very sympathetic to many of their policies as he is not happy how the Labour Government are leading us down a path where we are loosing control and our sovereignty.
However at the local level, voting for UKIP could mean that you will be helping Labour regain control of a seat in the ward. Residents need to be only reminded that the failed Labour Councillor Maureen Dilley who is standing again this year, was more than happy to force a 42% increase in council tax on the residents she represents while she was a Councillor.
If you want to keep the improving value for money council that this Conservative administration is working to provide, then we urge people to Vote Conservative on 3rd May.
